A (in) visibilidade da produção artística regional nas aulas de artes

Abstract

Este artigo discute o repertório de imagens artísticas locais e regionais presentes no imaginário do (a) acadêmico (a), ingressante no ano de 2011, no curso de Artes Visuais do Instituto de Ensino Superior da FUNLEC. Pretende-se elucidar os (as) artistas e as produções locais mais conhecidas pelos (as) acadêmicos (as) e analisar o contexto e as práticas artísticas vivenciadas por estes no decorrer da trajetória escolar. Para isso, como procedimentos metodológicos, a pesquisa pode ser caracterizada como qualitativa, e como instrumento de coleta de dados utilizou-se o questionário. Foram aplicados questionários aos (às) acadêmicos (as) ingressantes, sujeitos desta pesquisa, sobre o processo de ensino de arte nas escolas e o aprendizado sobre a produção artística de artistas que vivem e trabalham em Mato Grosso do Sul, na contemporaneidade. Observa-se que no Estado o ensino de arte busca espaço nas instituições escolares, e neste percurso, por vezes assume diferentes características. Sabe-se que a arte local e as distintas linguagens artísticas que compõem o entorno do (a) professor (a) de artes, são fonte de extrema relevância para a construção do campo da arte educação. Desta forma, o contexto da arte no século XXI está intimamente ligado ao hibridismo cultural e a uma estética voltada aos diversos espaços sociais, isto é, uma estética do cotidiano. Além disso, as relações étnicas, de gênero e as diversas relações que os povos estabelecem com o ambiente são impactantes também na maneira como estes produzem arte. Analisou-se de que forma a arte local é familiar a estes (as) estudantes e como relacionam os artistas sul-mato-grossenses à prática da arte educação. As respostas mostraram o pouco conhecimento existente entre os (as) graduandos (as) iniciantes sobre a arte produzida no Estado, percebendo-se que, no decorrer da vida escolar esses estudantes, pouco estudaram sobre arte e artistas locais e regionais.

Abstract

This article discusses the repertory of local and regional artistic images present in the mind of the students entering college in the year 2011, in the course of Visual Arts from the Instituto de Ensino Superior da FUNLEC. We intend to elucidate the artists and the local productions which are most known by those students and to analyze the context and the artistic practices experienced by them during college trajectory. In this way, as methodological procedures, the research can be characterized as qualitative, and as data collection instrument it was used a questionnaire. The questionnaires applied to the students who were entering college, subject of this research, were about the teaching process of arts in schools and about the artistic production of artists who live and work in Mato Grosso do Sul in the contemporaneity. We can observe that, in the State, the teaching of arts searches for space in school institutions, and in this way, it sometimes assumes different characteristics. It is known that the local art and the different artistic languages which compose the surroundings of the teacher of arts, are sources of extreme relevance to the construction of the art education field. Consequently, the context of art in the XXI century is closely linked to the cultural hybridism and to an aesthetic devoted to the several social spaces, that is, an aesthetic of the quotidian. Besides that, the ethnical and gender relations and the several relations that the peoples establish with the environment are also impacting in the way their art is produced. It was analyzed in which way the local art is familiar to those students and how they relate the artists from Mato Grosso do Sul to the art education practice. The responses showed the little knowledge existing among the students entering college about the art produced in the State, making us realize that, during the school life of those students, they studied little about art and the local and regional artists.
